Relief Society Dinners

Having just had a baby (well, my wife did, but you know what I mean), I can tell you that the meals from the Relief Society are great.

We did not, however, enjoy a menu like the one in this week's comic--which is totally the meal I would serve if post-pregnancy dinners were the responsibility of the Melchizedek Priesthood. (Actually, I'd probably bring five dollars and a handful of coupons that would get you a free soft-serve cone with any purchase of a McBlubber burger--which highlights the reason meals are assigned to the Relief Society and not the Elders Quorum.)

  1. You would never be able to bring $5.00 and some coupons because your wife would end up making the meal for you to pass off as your own...just like the cookies you take Home Teaching.

  4. Eric,
Had to go see what you and Arie were talking about, so I found your blog and spent a half hour or so reading. Have to admit I like your writing style, informitive, but not boring.

But now for some reason I am craving a McBlubber Burger. Where can I find one?

  5. Jon, thanks for the compliment. As for the McBlubber burger, it's all the rage in Nebraska Included are large fries, a 64 oz Coke, and a heart catheterization.
