Missionaries Dirty Little Secret

Here's something missionaries probably don't want you to know. You know when your missionary is so busy that he just doesn't have any time to write you a letter of any substance, when she is so engaged in the work that her correspondence with you suffers?

This is, most likely, what's really going on...

  1. Missionary Monday even on Labor Day?!? I'm impressed.

  2. The missionaries don't get the day off, so I shouldn't either. (Unless it's a P-Day, in which case never mind.)

Oh, and while it isn't clear from the above strip, this one takes place in the MTC.

  3. That was the same reason why I didn't write to you while you were on your mission Arie. I would start writing you a letter every week, and then my friends would call and invite me to hang out. This is why you got a total of 5 letters from me in 2 years. Clearly I can tell you this now because you will be so understanding and can finally offer me forgiveness.

  4. I don't think Jena's being entirely truthful--she never actually started any of those letters. But she was with you in spirit, even if was with her nutty friends in person (wasn't his name Errol?).

  5. Yea, I bought a 5 1/2" by 8" sized note book to write letters home, and my folks were lucky if I filled more than one page.
