Continuing last week's discussion on the importance of learning to play the guitar for the purpose of courting a girl: just a notch below guitar playing in the wooing skill set, is the ability to write a love poem. Unfortunate for me, not only can I
not play the guitar, but I can also
barely rhyme. So it's a good thing I can draw cartoons...chicks dig cartoons.
I disagree Arie. You're rhymes for this comic are extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteAnd isn't that what cartooning is all about?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jena, your complement means a lot.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Kevin, I'll liked your comment too, a lot.
I like writing poems, yes I do.
And, um, when they speak, cows say moo.
I take it back, Arie, you're not such a great rhymer after all.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of cartoonists (which we were), one of my readers left this for me, and I thought you might be interested: I ran across this today and thought you might be interested since you are so talented.... Meridian Magazine is looking for cartoonists.

I'd pick a cartoonist over a guitarist any day.
