Sacrament Meeting Nightmare

Here's something I learned on Wikipedia this morning while reading up on world-famous mime Marcel Marceau: as a member of the French Resistance in World War II, Marceau first began miming as a means to keep the children quiet that he was rescuing from concentration camps.

Now don't you feel guilty about all those nasty thoughts you've had about mimes over the years.

  1. How did you know I've had mean thoughts about mimes? This is one of my favorites of yours. So hilarious because it's every speaker's worst nightmare.

  2. Come on, Jena, everyone has unkind feelings towards mimes.

  3. I agree with Jena. This one is clever and funny. I love how Marcel is already doing his "I'm in a box" thing.

  4. Equally as frustrating is when you're the last speaker and have no time to give your talk because of long-winded speakers who have gone before you. Maybe you could come up with a way to pair the mimes of the world with the wordy presenters and we could all be happy.

  5. I had no idea - that is really fascinating. Love your cartoons, by the way.
