Missionary Splits

Here's a gag featured in this month's New Era. Perhaps confusion like this moved the vernacular from missionary "splits" to missionary "exchanges".

And now for some insider business: Today is a day I've been dreading for months. Google has finally forced me to move from their old Blogger interface to the new one. I like all the features with the new one except when it comes to uploading images. As you can see above, Blogger no longer uploads images to completely justify the width of the posting area. Do any of you know how to fix it  so that images are fully justified?

Here's another cheap shot on the MTC's cafeteria. All joking aside, it's the quality of the MTC's food that results in the weight gain of Elder Strong and missionaries like him--but comics extolling the MTC's food don't really lead to funny punchlines, do they?

Are You Ready for Some Football?

I have little more than a passing interest in professional football. I probably haven't watched a game start to finish in over a decade, but I know, without a doubt, that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to win the Super Bowl this season. It's my 100 percent, iron-clad lock of the season.

You see a couple of years ago, I included a Green Bay Packers t-shirt in one of my gags and that season the Packers won it all. It's a one-to-one correlation, I include a NFL logo in a gag and that team wins the Super Bowl. I've tried not to abuse this magic power of mine, but today's gag kind of demanded a NFL logo.

Alas, none of my readership would ever do anything so sinful as gamble, but is it gambling when it's a sure thing? (Yes.)
