Continuing the chronicles of the end of Elder Van Dyke's mission, here's a strip where he sees his family for the first time in two years at the airport.
One missionary in our ward, who finished her service with us, told me that she was returning to a new dad and step-siblings as her mother had remarried during her mission... someone she didn't even know! Now that's a worrying sort of homecoming.
