  1. I better wrap up quick. Looks like Brother Ahab's still mad about when I gave a 10 minute testimony last month.

  2. I love these! couldn't stop at just one.

    - Love your enemies, and pray for them which despitefully harpoon you…
    - Those opposed, if any, may manifest it. Bro. Ahab, the hand will do.
    - I had planned to speak on the story of Jonah, but ‘Love your enemies’ feels more appropriate.

    and a nerdy literary one:
    - I'll close with the Epistle of Starbuck to Ahab: ‘Moby Dick seeks thee not. It is thou that madly seekest him.’

    1. That second one got a big laugh out of me.

  3. 1. “Call me Ishmael” he says. Wonder if he’s related to Nephi.
    2. “A Big Fish” they say. They really should be more clear about who ate Jonah. He didn’t taste very good though. Spat him out after three days I did.
    3. “Fishers of Men”? What does that make me?
    4. For those of you who don’t know me I’m not gonna spoil the ending for you, especially you Ahab!

  4. "For those of you who don't know me, and especially those of you who do know me, call me Brother Moby."
"Do you know how hard it is to get up to the pulpit without legs?"
"Whale, whale, whale, who do we have here?"
"I'm a little jealous of brother Ahab's beard. I can't grow any facial hair to save my life!"
