I'm sure I've mentioned on this blog before that I was bit by dogs twice as a missionary. I also had a close encounter with a particularly angry dog that left me incredibly shaken. These experiences left me much more wary when it comes to canines.

As a missionary, I got to know a number of the homeless drunks in the cities I served. We never taught any while they were asleep on a park bench, though.
