The other day as I was driving to work, I heard Coldplay's Viva la Vida on the radio. And as I listened it dawned on me that the song would make a great addition to my missionary playlist. (what with the line: "My missionaries in a foreign field.")
So far that playlist looks like this:
- Viva la Vida - Coldplay
- Missionary Man - Eurythmics
- Who Can It Be Now? - Men at Work (door to door tracting song)
- Iron Lion Zion - Bob Marley
- Pretty much anything from U2's The Joshua Tree album. Seeing as how they were investigating the Church at the time, right? (Right?)
Don't forget about The Proclaimers, I think you can count anything by that band too. Besides they talk about walking 500 miles, I think I did that on my mission walking door to door.
ReplyDeleteHow about Paul McCartney's Wings' song "Let 'em in"?
