My daughter would do just fine with the Express Santa as long as a "dozen puppies" counts as one item.
ReplyDeleteEric's comment raises a question I've always had about the express lane: what constitutes an item? Say I'm purchasing 12 cans of chili, is that considered one item or twelve? And does it matter if those cans are in a case or loose? I usually opt to take my groceries through another line in situations like this (I have a irrational fear of being chewed out for being a bad express lane shopper), but I'd really like to know.
ReplyDeleteI believe that it is the number of beeps on the scanner. So if you buy a pack, one beep, one item.
DeleteWhen asking Santa for something, do you think the same three wish rule applies? Can you ask Santa for only one thing -unlimited presents- just like using one of your three wishes to wish for unlimited wishes? If so, Express Santa will do just fine.
