So, I was all set to submit today's gag to the New Era when my wife stumbled upon the following quote from President Faust in the January, 2010 issue of said magazine:"We have heard comedians and others justify or explain their misdeeds by saying, 'The devil made me do it.' I do not really think the devil can make us do anything" ("To the Point," New Era, Jan. 2010, 30-31).And with that, I moved today's gag from my New Era folder to my blog folder.

ReplyDeleteAre you saying that your blog isn't as reputable as the New Era? I beg to differ. Although the fact that you can write questionable doctrine at the bottom does allow you to get away with more.
ReplyDeleteI love it! To me the cartoon supports President Faust's quote and the ridiculous-ness of those that claim innocence, but blame the devil--or the "devils-food" as is the case here. It really made me smile!
