There are always missionaries who could tell you to the day how long they'd been out and how much longer they had left to go on their mission. I suppose a week and a couple of days into your mission seems a lot longer when you present it like Elder Ryan does above.

Now that I've started noticing your characters' hair, I'm not sure what to make of the buzzed side and mini-curl top look.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure of the look either, Kelsey. I created Elder Strong over ten years ago and my ability to draw hair has (I'd like to think) improved.
ReplyDeleteHe's based off of a couple of no-nonsense military type missionaries I met on my mission. Hence the crew cut.
I could never figure those guys out. I had a hard enough time remembering what day it was -- there was Sunday, P-day, and everything else!
