Smiling Exercise

I remember a zone conference once where the APs led us in a series of smiling exercises that would make us appear more friendly. Elder Tom's technique is sound. By holding your mouth open as wide as you can for a few seconds, your smile comes off much more genuine. (This is something I still do to this day prior to having my picture taken.)

The only problem with this technique is that you're occasionally forced to explain to the confused person on the other side of the door why your mouth is contorted in such a ridiculous manner when the door is open much sooner than you were expecting.

  1. Shame you didn't post this comic in June just before our family got our pictures taken. It would've been pretty funny seeing all of us stretching our mouths out and smiling just before the photographer said 3.
