The Ultimate Dear John
With Valentine's Day just around the corner, I thought I'd run another "Dear John" strip. This time it's Elder Strong in the MTC, of all places.

Now That I Am Baptized
The DL and I moved into a new area a few days before my birthday and it took a week before I got any birthday cards, and the DL mocked me for it.
ReplyDeleteThe following month was his birthday and it was a few days after moves. I told him that he wouldn't get any cards on his birthday since the Mission Office would hold all mail until after moves were announced.
He was positive that wouldn't happen to him. Sure enough he got a birthday card size envelope on his birthday. He made sure to let me know that he was right and he would get Birthday Love on his Birthday.
When he opened it, it was a Wedding Announcement. I felt a little bad for laughing.
