Hump Day

I should have the conference recap up sometime early this afternoon--within plenty of time for Family Home Evening. In the meantime, check out Kevin Beckstrom's conference sketchbook. I think he's outdone himself this time.

    Hi, I love your cartoons. Just wanted to ask what you use to create your cartoons? Is it a combination of freehand drawing and software?

      You're guess is right on. I draw everything with pen and paper, scan it in, and then touch it up using Photoshop. Rather old-fashioned I realize, but it works for me.

      Well I think you should keep it old-fashioned because it's working for you. I used to draw a lot but not so much in the last few years.

    I personally think all cartoons pertaining to the Book of Mormon be etched on metal plates.
