I recall the day I decided I wanted to ask to be baptised. The Elder - famous for his wide grin on all occasions - grinned so broadly that I swear it met in back... but only later did I discover that it happened to be his birthday!
ReplyDeleteMan, his birthday in the field certainly turned out better for him than either of my birthdays did (as I'll outline in the coming weeks).
