Stuck on Zero

Today's strip wraps up Ivan's story. It looks like Elder Van Dyke learned a valuable lesson. Aren't you glad you stuck it out to the end?

I'm kind of at a crossroads with my missionary strips here on this blog. I've nearly exhausted my inventory of strips and find myself unsure of how to proceed. The way I see it, I can do one of two things: I can retire Missionary Monday and only post to this website on Thursdays or I can start rerunning the missionary strips.*

If you're all not sick of the democratic process, take a moment and cast a vote in the comment section: option one or option two.

*I suppose there is a third option of actually coming up with a new strip every week, but come on, we all know I'm too lazy for that. (It's not like I'm Kevin Beckstrom or something.)

  1. I was going to say that you should draw some new ones — until I got to the asterisk! But, hey, I'm not against voting third-party if I want to make a statement!

  2. Can we do instant runoff voting? I vote #3, and if not that, then #2.

  3. I'm with Molly . . . option 3, but it that's truly not an option, then option 2! :)

  4. 3 or 2. I'd enjoy new strips, but it would still be great to read all of them in order.

  5. I also vote #3! But if the election is rigged, I vote #2. But if you need a break, you need a break! Either way, I think we can agree on this:

  6. How about seeing how some Sister Missionaries get on during their missions?

  7. I'd like to see number 3. Or two. I know my sister missionary would love to see a script about sister missionaries. :) Whatever you can do. Love your work!

  8. I would enjoy to see some strips about post-mission life. Maybe skip forward a few years to when Elder Van Dyke's children go on a mission? That's another end of the stick, and I would like to see how he copes.
