The MTC Drop-off

Look at that, it's taken almost three months but Elder Van Dyke is finally at the MTC! Ten years ago, the MTC drop-off was a completely different experience. Instead of saying goodbye at a curb, missionaries and their families went into a large meeting area in the MTC where they listened to speakers and watched a short video scientifically designed to produce tears--it was brutal. The longevity of this strip means that I drew that experience before I drew the current curbside goodbye.
