Shelter in Place

Today's gag concludes my very own COVID-19 Countdown to Conference. Next week we'll return to our regular posting schedule. Thanks for indulging me. I'll admit it was quite a challenge coming up with a comic every day for two and a half weeks,* but I'm pretty satisfied with how this turned out. I think it laughing helps.

Ultimately, we have no idea how long the coronavirus is going to continue to upend our lives--and in some cases ravage our lives (through sickness, employment and finances, or even death)--but no matter how bad it gets, I hope that the coming two weekends will offer some source of comfort.

General Conference finally begins tomorrow! I doubt there has every been a General Conference more anticipated in a generation. And the following weekend is Easter and its reminder of Christ's atonement and resurrection. COVID-19 is temporary. Christ is eternal!

*Of course, my friend and ward cartoonist in a ward somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, Kevin Beckstrom, has had no problem posting something everyday for over ten years now!

  1. Personally, I loved the Covid-19 countdown. And I cannot wait for conference. Week after week, getting ready for church seems like such a chore. But when you can’t go anymore, then conference is an extra special blessing.
