Once There Was a Snowman PTSD

Happy 2026, everyone!

In just a couple of weeks this blog will be 17 years old. Thanks for sticking with it!

When I started it, I never thought I'd be at this for this long, yet here I am. And what's more, I've got big plans for 2026. Within a couple of months, I will have completed my run of Mission Daze comic strips and I've already been planning for what comes next. I'm excited. I think it should be fun.

The Cold Shoulder

I remember making a couple of snowmen missionaries in a field outside my apartment during my second Christmas in Slovenia. We even included a couple of old ties to complete the outfit (we stopped short of adding name tags). When we came home after a day of delivering treats and holiday wishes to members and investigators, we found our snowmen had been knocked over and kicked in.

It seems some folks don't like missionaries in any form.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
