As I was drawing this joke, I struggled long and hard with what was funnier: "No hablo Inglés" or "Ich spreche kein Englisch," I finally settled on the Spanish; but now I'm not so sure.

Failing Sunday School

Personally, I'm happy with the courses of study we currently have for gospel doctrine. (You can't beat the scriptures, after all.) But I wonder if there are any other topics that might merit a year's worth of study. (Certainly this doesn't.)

Cheat Code

Today is the 4th of July. You might be asking, then, why I'm running a comic about an Italian plumber created by some Japanese game developers. It's been a while since I played Super Mario Brothers, but I believe there are fireworks at the end of ever level if Mario successfully jumps to the top of the flagpole. And doesn't everybody associate the 4th with fireworks?

Facebook Mission Prep

At Sunday's Worldwide Leadership Training, Elder Perry announced that moving forward missionaries will now spend some time on the internet doing missionary work via social media. I'm impressed with the faith the Church is placing in the hands of our missionary force. Much like the move from scripted discussions, missionaries today are expected to act as agents in a greater manner than me and my cohorts ever were.
