Street Contacting

As a missionary, it took me a long time to warm up to street contacting. It was a lot easier to knock on a door than to stop someone cold. Plus, the whole thing seemed so arbitrary, I mean how do you know that you shouldn't be stopping the people you're letting go and letting go the people you're stopping?

  1. I love the bubbles of what the people are thinking as they pass by. That would have made it a lot easier if we could've read minds as missionaries! :)

  2. You'd think your Elder would do a better job of reading minds. It's so much easier to detect surrounding brain waves when you are missing your frontalis bone.

  3. I have a hard time reading minds but I wonder if the lady passing by was actually thinking "I wonder if angels speak to men" although angles speaking to men would be pretty remarkable too! :)

  4. Bah, thanks for pointing out the typo. Now I'm wondering how the missionaries would teach someone who's religion seems to be geometry. Maybe they could refere her to their Area Authority.
