I realize that Christmas is over, but we can have Christmas in our heart year round, right? 
After receiving a deluge of requests to do more North Pole First Ward comics, I drew today's gag. (Yes, two comments constitutes a deluge on this blog--kind of pathetic, isn't it?) And with all the ideas Jon gave me, I should be able to return to the North Pole First Ward year after year.
How does Santa fund his operation? He has a staff of thousands (if not tens of thousands) of elves for which he has to provide substance and lodging, he produces billions of toys a year which he has to obtain the base materials for and then store somewhere, and he has to generate enough energy to travel at near light speed for one night a year to deliver all those toys.
Last week we got a glimpse of Elder Austin's giant care package, today we find out who it's from, and next week we'll find out just what is inside. The suspense, I'm sure, is killing you (which is appropriate because that's very much what Christmas feels like to little kids).
Today's gag is the latest in a series I like to call "Things Not to Say over the Pulpit." It's a pretty good series mainly because there are so many things that you shouldn't say when addressing a congregation.
Possibly the only thing better than getting a Christmas care package from home as a missionary is getting a Christmas care package from home that's bigger than your companion's.
I don't have much to add to today's comic except to point out that I would totally be into Dry-pack Pizza and that this gag comes from the criminally inexpensive Mormon Life, now on sale for $4.99--a perfect gift for everyone on your Christmas list.
