Calling and Election Made Sure

And now for a different type of scary....

In the United States, Election Day is a mere five days away. The Church is very interested in members participating in the political process and has been very clear that "Principles compatible with the gospel may be found in various political parties and candidates."*

I believe that whole-heartily.

I also believe there can be some scary political monsters from every political party who would act in very much the same way as the politician in today's gag.

Fulfilling Prophecy

At least Elder Van Dyke's companion has been able to focus on his scripture studies during his mail drought.

Zombies!

Zombies are pretty much the go to monster of our time.* That being the case it only makes sense that I'd feature one in my ongoing Transylvania Central Mission strip. (Apologies to Kevin Beckstrom who pretty much owns the LDS-themed zombie gag.)

*Well zombies and sparkling vampires.

Fishing for Mail

Today's strip is a bit more slapstick than usual. In fact, about the only other strips I can think of that were quite as absurd are the once I did while Elder Van Dyke was waiting for his mission call. (Find them here, here, here, here, and here.)

Clearly there is something about mail and missionaries that brings out the ridiculous in them.

This weekend is General Conference. It's all the fun of Comic Con* just without the silly costumes.
