Thanks to everyone who offered their opinion on the future of Missionary Monday. It looks like the majority of you would like this little feature to continue in some sort of capacity. So here's what I'll do: I'm going to rerun a number of story lines, but I'll also sneak in some new strips that explore aspects of missionary life that I may have somehow missed previously. I'll also explore the ideas of tracking Alex Van Dyke's post-mission life from time to time. It should be fun.
In the meantime, here's the very first strip with the arrival of Elder Van Dyke's mission call.

Turkey Bowl Pros and Cons
As I get older and older, the cons to a once-a-year flag football game start to outweigh the pros.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Stuck on Zero
Today's strip wraps up Ivan's story. It looks like Elder Van Dyke learned a valuable lesson. Aren't you glad you stuck it out to the end?
I'm kind of at a crossroads with my missionary strips here on this blog. I've nearly exhausted my inventory of strips and find myself unsure of how to proceed. The way I see it, I can do one of two things: I can retire Missionary Monday and only post to this website on Thursdays or I can start rerunning the missionary strips.*
If you're all not sick of the democratic process, take a moment and cast a vote in the comment section: option one or option two.
*I suppose there is a third option of actually coming up with a new strip every week, but come on, we all know I'm too lazy for that. (It's not like I'm Kevin Beckstrom or something.)

Overcrowded Primary Program
It's that time of year! There is rarely a better sacrament meeting than the primary program. It can make for an overcrowded rostrum, though.

Coloring Therapy
Adult coloring books are kind of a thing right now. Coloring is supposed to be therapeutic and reduce stress. If there as good as they claim to be, I might have to start spending more time on the LDS Coloring Book app.*

Baptism Request
Things are moving now, aren't they? There isn't anything that can spoil this for Elder Van Dyke, is there? Tune in next week, for the exciting adventures of Mission Daze!

John the What Now?
Today's gag falls into a category of comics I sadly consider Family Circus-like. If Keane was Mormon. And drew his kids with smaller heads. And dressed them in clothes that didn't come from the 1950s. And paneled his work in a rectangle instead of a circle.
They can't all be winners.
