David and Goliath (Church Ball Style)

Last year I swore off Church ball gags. And then I ran this Christmas gag. And then there's today's gag. Apparently, I'm really bad at follow through.*

Today's gag is featured in the January New Era.

*This probably explains why I never shot a good free throw.

      I'm glad somebody noticed my little tribute to John Stockton and Karl Malone. The other two guys are wearing the Utah Jazz numbers of Greg Ostertag and Olden Polyonice.

      Had Stockton and Malone taken on those two stiffs in a game of two on two, I'm confident the score would have been the same as this ward ball game.

    Now I love the comic even more. Only a true genius could sneak such a covert reference to obscure Jazz players into the New Era.
