Facebook Mission Prep

At Sunday's Worldwide Leadership Training, Elder Perry announced that moving forward missionaries will now spend some time on the internet doing missionary work via social media. I'm impressed with the faith the Church is placing in the hands of our missionary force. Much like the move from scripted discussions, missionaries today are expected to act as agents in a greater manner than me and my cohorts ever were.

You Like Me, You Really Like Me

This blog has gone far too long without a "Things Not To Say Over the Pulpit" gag. So, here's one today.

News and Notes

Here's some news since my last post:
  • My awesome little brother and president of the Mormon Cartoonist Fan Club has fixed the Facebook fan club to allow for posts from this website to show up there. To do so, though, he had to create a new type of Facebook fan club which means that if you had previously joined the fan club, you'll have to rejoin it now. You can do it here.
  • As a reminder to any single girls out there, this is what my brother Joel looks like!
  • Remember a month ago, when I linked to another Mormon Cartoonist's blog and bemoaned the fact that he wasn't updating his blog regularly? Well, since then he's began posting new stuff nearly daily. You can check out his blog here as well as from a permanent link off to the right of this blog.

Mormon Cartoonist Moves to the 21st Century

My Facebook-savvy little brother has created a Mormon Cartoonist fan club on that site. I'm old enough where Facebook is still a little scary and intimidating; but if you're hip enough to peruse that service, please feel free to join.

The purpose for joining my little fan club escapes me (as does, quite frankly, the purpose for Facebook altogether), but we're still looking for a treasurer and a club song.
